It’s #GivingTuesday today, and this year, I hope you’ll join my 16th annual push to support Heifer International, an organization devoted to fighting hunger. With hunger persisting around the world, their work is extremely, extremely important.
(For long time readers, I wasn’t able to create a dedicated fundraising page as in years past, but I hope you’ll consider them nonetheless!)
This year, I also would like to encourage you to join me in donating to the wonderful organization We Need Diverse Books, who have a wide range of programs seeking to change persistent historical iniquities in the the publishing industry. As efforts to diversify the industry falter, their work is as important as ever.
