Here comes Jacob Wonderbar and the Interstellar Time Warp, now on sale!

Time travel is all fun and games until you get stuck in the wrong century! Jacob has ended up in the wrong time and what’s worse, the entire Astral space human society has come under threat of destruction. It’s up to Jacob to make things right.

With the unlikely help of arch-nemesis Mick Cracken, Jacob time-hops through the universe with his best friends Sarah and Dexter, encountering dinosaurs, Napoleon, and most terrifying of all, bad ’80s fashion, in search of the one person who can help them: Jacob’s missing father.

Thanks as always to the amazing Christopher S. Jennings for the illustrations and Greg Stadnyk for the cover design!

Looks really fun, Nathan. Congrats! Out of curiosity, how much input do you have in your covers? Did you mastermind yours because it is great.

I notice you keep to a look for your covers. That seems to be the trend. Are your books in public and school libraries? Books with male main characters are in the minority and I know teachers look for them.

Jacob Wonderbar has such wonderful adventures and this cover, like the last two, expresses this well.

I have a chance to weigh in but for the most part I leave it to the experts!

I've really enjoyed all the covers. I think they are perfect, so you do have a good design team because I do think the cover-art is a big key in the whole process.

I'm 30 years old, and I read the first one (so far) 🙂
I like MG reads that are fun and well-paced and full of life and fun.
Would you share some of the (MG) reads that might have influenced your MG path? I'd love to know as I've been diving into whatever I can access at my library at the moment (I'm dirt-broke, so library books are my thing, which yes makes me feel like a 100 years behind other practicing writers today — you do what you can 🙂

I have a son and we've read two of your books together so far, so we're looking forward to this one – although I had to explain to him it would be a long time as once I'd shown him the picture, he thought we could buy it now!
