So! In my neverending search for balance… Well, I didn’t balance my way to a blog post for today.
Instead… I give you… the world’s newest viral star:

Happy Tuesday!

Freaking awesome.
This kid is going to LOVE roller coasters…oh the terror, WHEEEEEEEE!! Thanks for sharing this one. 🙂
The baby actually oscillates between i'm-scared-shit-out-of-my-pants and shit-mommy-did-a-funny!
Thanks for sharing, Nathan.
So cute! Love his expressions. How I miss that baby stage, where everything in life is a marvel.
There's nothing like a baby's uninhibited laughter to make you smile.
I LOVE this video!
Babies laughter; one of the sweetest sounds in the universe.
Saw this the other day and have been madly sending the link to friends. How can anyone stay glum after watching this awesomeness? Love it!
omg Nathan that was amazing! just made my morning!!
Actually, this is a version of the standard baby freakout game of peek a boo. First mommy's nose disappears (behind a tissue), then it reappears! Magic noses! Who doesn't love playing "got your nose" with a little one! (But it's only fun if you eventually give it back).
HIL-arious.
I'm actually impressed that you're practicing what you preach, balance and letting a longer blog post go – hopefully to do something else that keeps you in balance!
Writing a great book is a great feeling, and seeing it published greater still. But having a son (or two) is the greatest feeling of all. (Daughters, too, I'm sure, but I only have sons so there you go.)
hat is SOOOOOOOOO cute! Call me a scrooge, but I'm usually not a fan of cute baby videos. That one, however, is awesome!
Thanks for sharing.
So cute! I remember my children laughing over similar things.
Enjoyed the baby video but then that girl with the Friday song video popped up and I had to scramble to get out of there before my ears began to bleed again. Make the most of your time off, Mr. Bransford. The time to return to work will come all too soon.
I posted this on FB last week. Made me laugh so hard!
We're thinking along the same lines today. I posted about a cute puppy 🙂
Now that's a cute baby.
Dawwww. See, they didn't even need that big fancy toy, only a tissue!
Very funny! Love the expression changes…too cute.
Now how can that not brighten your day?
🙂
Babies are cute, and filled with wonder at the strangest things. Who can resist a baby's laugh?
Nathan, I'm surprised you don't have blog-posts-in-waiting to pop in here when your time gets crunched. (or Free Thread as you've done before).
Adorable. That's the kind of noise I like.
I don't think I would've appreciated this at all 10 months ago – "back in the day" when I didn't have a kid of my own. Now this makes me crack up because I can totally see Carter doing something like this.
Babies rule.
Haha… someone sent this to me via facebook last week. I laughed so hard my tummy hurt! So awesome.
He's gonna be one of those nervous laughers. =P
Whoa. That almost looks stressful, going from that scared to that entertained that quickly.
Still, it's hilarious. Thanks Nathan.
Saw this on Dooce. Have watched it over and over. And laughed an ugly laugh over it.
How are your brackets, Nathan?
The nose this is contagious; I snorted when I was laughing at this video. Only two customers in the gallery noticed.
Yes, my nose often scares my children as well. Too funny.
Unbelievably Cute!
When I read the blog title I thought you were making an annoucement. LOL.
I see your baby cuteness and raise you one with the right idea of what to do with rejection letters:

It's great that you're allowing yourself some balance today. Enjoy! That baby is awesome. The world through children's eyes when everything in the world is new: priceless.
Susan Kaye Quinn,
That is hialrious! That baby would cheer up anyone getting a rejection letter. The Dad actually seems to have enjoyed the rejection.
I see an adrenaline junkie in the making. Thanks for posting, Nathan.
Oh, that's so cute! That baby has such an expressive face. A born actor. 🙂
LOL–I think we just figured out the dynamics behind the thrill of horror movies and books! (fascinated and hysterical fright)
I'm stepping out from behind the lurking-curtain for a moment to tell you that that's the best break from writing I've ever had. The kid is adorably funny. Thanks, Nathan. 😀
How amazing that baby was able to laugh after looking like a deer in the headlights! Babies rule!
That's hilarious–and good for you for taking a break. 🙂
Priceless!
For some reason, my 7-month-old niece is riveted, laughing like crazy, whenever we put this video on for her.

We tried it on her, but she started crying! The sound of paper ripping scared her :o.
Very cute! Brings back that feeling of when you laugh hysterically after having had the wits scared out of you. I think Ghost Girl hit the nail on the head when she compared the feeling to a roller coaster ride.
that is so stinkin' cute!
This video should be made part of the curriculum in all acting/drama schools. This baby's comic timing is impeccable. 😉
Oh no. The video is gone now. Bummed I can't watch it.
Brilliant!
thats awsome! so adorable
